Surprise! New Year's Resolution

Well, it's been over a year since I updated the blog. Sorry. I decided to have this as an attainable New Year's Resolution, but you might notice that we are 12 days into the new year and I'm just now updating. Oh well.

Anyway, I am on day 3 of snow vacation, and we are out again tomorrow. So I had 2 weeks off at Christmas, worked for 5 days, and am off again for at least 4- and next week is a 4 day week due to the MLK holiday on Monday. John loves having me home (and I think Bill doesn't mind it either).

John has had a busy year- growing by leaps and bounds. He is still delayed in some areas- speech (not language) and some fine motor skills, particularly using a spoon. He just has difficulty with that scooping motion, even when in the sandbox. We are full swing in potty training, but it really isn't going well. John has no interest in using the potty, but he will sit on it at diaper changes.
